Send files from Android to Mac
An Android phone and a Mac don't share files easily. Beam-It sends photos, videos and documents between them in the browser, with no cable and nothing to install on the Mac.
How to do it
Open Beam-It on your Mac
Go to beamfiles.vercel.app in the browser. There is nothing to install and no account to make.
Add your Android phone
Tap Add another device. Scan the QR code, open the link, or type the 6-letter pairing code on your Android phone. Allow it once and Beam-It remembers it.
Send
Choose the files, or drop them on the device's card. They arrive on the other screen, ready to open or save. It works the same in both directions.

Questions
Do I need a USB cable?
No. The devices connect over the internet, directly to each other where the network allows.
Do both need the same Wi-Fi?
No. The same Wi-Fi is fastest, but it also works across different networks and mobile data.
Is there a file size limit?
No. Very large files are best received in Chrome or Edge on the Mac, where they are written straight to disk.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no account, no subscription and no limit on how much you send.
